In 2021, Heartland established Splenda Stevia Farms, the first-ever fully integrated, United States-based stevia farm, located in Central Florida. We now produce superior tasting stevia sweetener domestically decreasing the environmental impact by eliminating unnecessary CO2 emissions caused by current global stevia supply chain operations. Our consistency of sweetness from acre to acre is the result of our all-natural process, without genetic engineering, that utilizes the propagation of mother plants with the sweetest combinations of stevia glycosides

Our stevia extraction plant is integrated into our Splenda Stevia Farms, increasing efficiencies and drastically reducing the carbon emissions by eliminating the need to ship stevia from China and abroad to domestic manufacturers. We dry and brew our stevia leaves to make a sweet syrup. Then it goes through a multi-step filtration and extraction process to capture the steviol glycosides for our stevia Reb M90, Reb M95, and our new proprietary blend Reb A.
